World of:
  1.   Inventions come about faster because magic secretly cuts out a lot of time in the inventing process.
  2.  The MASQ has laws that forbid magic users from using their magic to bring back the dead or cure disease.
  3. There are also laws preventing magic users from using their magic to create money.
  4. Only a very tiny percent of the population is immune to the price of magic. They are referred to as "Golden Mages". (Shugo is one)
  5. Magic is genetically more common in girls than boys, resulting in a witch and magical girl stereotype.
  6. The gene for magic cannot be created spontaneously-- there would be no "muggle borns" in GoFverse.
  7. However, not everyone with magic is their blood knows it. The MASQ does not go about spoiling the secret except in emergencies.
  8. Magic tradition states that magical children should not learn of their powers until they are at least ten years old.
  9. The MASQ is not the only magical government, just the biggest and most powerful for them.
  10. Witch hunting has become less of a religious concern and more of a tradition over time.
Concerning Witches / Mages / Etc.:
  1. The strength of one's empathy is determined by how sympathetic their personality is.  An attitude change can change empathetic abilities.
  2. Caffeine gives magic users a temporary power boost, but makes their caffeine crash a bit worse.
  3. On average, magic users require less sleep than a regular human.
  4. Because of their body's automatic healing, magic users have to drink more to become drunk.
  5. Magic is tied to this world's Alchemy. Traditional alchemical concepts often come up in magic study.
  6. Magic users with stronger magical potential tend to die young as a result of overloading their body. Magic overuse causes heart failure.
  7. Strong magic potential tends to stunt people's growth.
  8. When a person dies they release "rotten" emotions in their heart, so magic users can typically sense death with their empathy.
  9. Magic users may form as many links as they want, but more than six is considered socially unacceptable.
  10. Because male magic users are so uncommon, the MASQ is primarily made of female employees.
Concerning Satou Kuroneko:
  1. Satou changes the way that she writes her last name between the first and second story arcs.
  2. She always keeps her neck covered to hide a scar left behind when she was almost beheaded in a fight as a child. This incident was what led to her murdering her father.
  3. Satou's "first crush" was on Mikale when she was eight years old.
  4. Due to her high magic potential, Satou's growth is stunted and she develops heart failure. Her health problems would have killed her before she turned eighteen.
  5. She refuses to wear white because she feels she is too "impure" to wear it.
  6. Her dream job was to become a librarian.
  7. By the end of the second arc, Satou has lost the use of her left leg.
  8. Her first kiss is with Mikale, though she prefers to call it a "spit swap". Which is Grosstou.
  9. She is afraid of large dogs.
  10. Second hand shops make her sick because of all of the feelings left on peoples' old clothes.
Concerning Mikale Godono:
  1. His last name at birth was "Reed", but he no longer acknowledges it.
  2. He is one of the only characters to survive until the end of the series.
  3. He is afraid of physical contact, crowds, lions, and maids.
  4. He cuts his own hair.
  5. He is significantly taller than most of the cast.
  6. Post-epilogue, Mikale dies at age 25 in a bus accident. So much for that, Satou.
  7. He has a  very high potential for magic, but does not have the empathy that he needs to use it effectively.
  8. Despite the fact that most of the main cast is Japanese, Mikale cannot read or speak more than a tiny bit of Moonspeak. ( He calls Satou "Kurokitty" because he does not know what "kuro" means. )
  9. His mother dies of heartache shortly after he leaves her.
  10. Mikale is left handed.
Concerning Shugo Yumeno:
  1. His dream job was to become a doctor.
  2. He uses girl's shampoo and conditioner.
  3. He is younger than Usao, despite being called her "big brother".
  4. He can be an annoying chauvinist and everyone should hate him for it.
  5. All arcs start from Shugo's point of view.
  6. He is the only male Golden mage left after Annabelle's murder spree.
  7. He is nearly fluent in speaking Japanese, but cannot read it to save his life.
  8. He goes through more weapon changes than any other character.
  9. There is no price on his magic, making him potentially stronger than even Satou.
  10. He completes more of his education than any other main cast member.
Concerning Masume Sakura:
  1. She is perma-small.
  2. Masume gets glasses in arc two.
  3. Her legal name is Masume Kuroneko, but  she continues to use her original last name whenever possible.
  4. Masume is incredibly smart and has a near photographer memory. Which she spends on fiction.
  5. While her sister empathy sensitive, Masume is magic sensitive. Situations with too many spells flying around make her feel sick.
  6. Though she is primarily a support mage to her sister, Masume practices offensive magic and wants to help fight.
  7. Masume is the only character to have her MASQ rank promoted twice during the course of the story.
  8. Though she thinks the price of her magic is "family", Masume actually has no price on her magic. She is not a Golden mage.
  9. She is absolutely fearless in the company of friends and family, but very paranoid when she's left alone.
  10. Masume is fluent in English and Japanese.
Concerning Touka Takamachi:
  1. Of the main heroines, Touka has the biggest bust for the entire series. 
  2. She is afraid of not having her feet on steady ground, so prefers not to fly and hates earthquakes.
  3. She is the only heroine who is actually Japanese, even though Masume and Satou have Japanese names.
  4. She is the only heroine to not make Ryuu carry her luggage.
  5. Touka has a mana well inside her, but never actually uses any of the magic stored in her. Her strength is raw talent, but she never gives herself credit.
  6. Touka is the first member of the main cast to realize uber magic causes health problems. She catches hers before they become severe enough to threaten her life.
  7. Her magic potential and empathy are completely average. Touka is the series' embodiment of hardwork outweighing the value of genetics.
  8. Though walking in high heels is no problem for her now, she is afraid of them due to how unstable they used to make her.
  9. She is the only heroine to not have an entire arc based around her, but shows up in every arc as a primary character.
  10. Touka grows up to become a school librarian (Satou's dream job) and a novelist.
Concerning Marron Dystini:
  1. She struggles to maintain good grades because she is so busy helping Fate.
  2. Despite being a gifted witch, she uses firearms more than magic to accomplish tasks.
  3. She has the greatest personality change between the main series and the epilogue.
  4. Marron becomes a school teacher in the epilogue and works at the same school as Touka.
  5. She has the next biggest heroine bust size after Touka.
  6. She is ambidextrous.
  7. Marron's pet fish die whenever there is a major plot point.
  8. She learned the concepts of "right and left" backwards.
  9. Marron is one of the few characters to only speak one language: English.
  10. She considers horror movies to be educational.
Concerning the Writing Process:
  1. Mikale was the first character created solely for Game of Fate--- most others are AU versions of other OCs.
  2. Shugo won the honor of being Satou's love interest via name-in-a-hat
  3. Vinita was the original sole antagonist of the story.
  4. Masume and Satou originally had a mascot-like companion.
  5. Satou and Mikale are the only pair of "childhood friends" in the story
  6. Marron's arc and character were originally completely uninvolved in Game of Fate
  7. The Title Competition plot point was originally simple "Artifact Collecting".
  8. In the original ending, Fate won. Now no one wins.
  9. Game of Fate was originally a tribute to my friends' and my old OCs.
  10. The theme of the story is "Human Strength".
Concerning Ryuu Owen:
  1. I completely forgot he existed up until right now.
  2. The need to keep his dragon summoning abilities forced the concept of magic to be completely redefined.
  3. His name at birth was Matthew, but he was renamed due to family tradition.
  4. He is the true victim of this story.
  5. He was originally engaged to Touka, but the IC response to that would be Masume or Satou throwing him under a bus so it was cut out.
  6. The suitcases Masume and Satou make him carry are usually empty.
  7. His relationship with Masume and Satou is the only one that neither Fate nor Vinita have any control over.
  8. He goes back to being called Matthew in the epilogue.
  9. He one of the few main characters to never be employed by or seek employment with the MASQ at any point.
  10. His dragons reflect his various personalities. As an adult, he would have only been able to summon the Wind Dragon.
